Arroyo-Facilitating US Murder.

Dylan Roderiguez published a piece in the 'Left Curve' entitled:-
'The Significance of March 15th 2005: On the Bagong Prison Massacre'
It makes difficult reading but in the context of the London Independent
Report last week of the dissapearances and torture of political activists
it is crucial to the understanding of neo-colonialism and the
'importation of US Imprisonment techniques into former colonies'.

The report by Rodriguez, in affilaition with the 'Critical Filipino and
Filipina Studies collective' is tri-partite and details how the globalised
intrusions played out against a backdrop of repression facilitate
'Mass -based human immobilisation which is capable of modification and
deployment across historical scenes and geographic sites':- (or
The use of high tech prisons with starvation regimes and torture to apply the
neo-colonial will of the US war machine through the facilitation of a
soft president against their own people).

The same technique against indigenous community is being used
by Governor Ulises Ruis against the APPO in Oaxaca- here the Bush
puppet Calderon is more interested in faciliatating the imprisonment
and abuse of his people through the construction of the apartheid wall
than bringing criminal charges against Ruis.

The Victims of the Bagong Prison massacre were moslem.
They had demanded rights and had killed three guards.
The put-down by the PNP (trained by the US military,
was played out through the media in Manila- i.e, it
was 'normalised' for the consumer audience)

Arroyo condned the actions of the PNP voiceferously and publicly.
Last week The London independent:
 http://news.independent.co.uk/world/asia/article2293482.ece
reported that the Phillipines army is accused of the murder of
hundreds of political activists- in the case of pinochet this
type of activity went on for years.
The Philip Aston report on behalf of the Un is @link.
The reporter is Justin Huggler.

The catch all phrase of Arroyo is that Muslim insurgents are
responsible for the instability.

We have Heard it before- it does not ring true.
40,000 lives have been lost since the crack- down on communists.

The Significance of fifteenth of March 2005:- On the Bagong Diwa Prison
Massacre, by Dylan Rodriguez in affiliation with the Critical Fillipino and
Filipina Studies Collective'

The Essay in the 'Left Curve' by Rodriguez disseminates and contextualises
the importation of the US Penal system into the Phillipines in order to
put down and faciliatate the opression of indigenous muslim communities.

The massacre of 27 muslims on the 15th of March 2005:- by the PNP
[who are trained by the US military was played out through the
mass consumer media to a general audience- thus normalising
murder and faciltating globalised hegemony through the office
of the president- who sings so beautifully on the threat of
both communism and islamic insurgents.

The Rodriguez essay can be read in the context of the london Independent report
onthe unsolved killings , during the arroyo regime of hundreds of political
activitists.
The UN report onrights abuses and dissapearances is published by
Alston:-

40,000 lives have been lost since 1969.
Hundreds have been lost since Arroyos accession to Power.

Neo-Colonial abuse of a people against an imported regime of terror
where indigenous communities are targeted is also played out
in the Calderon Regime in Mexico in the ongoing put-down of
the APPO and massacres against the indigenous communities.
