Robert Cottage, 49, and David Jackson, 62, both of Lancashire, denied conspiracy to make an explosion with chemicals ordered over the internet.The jury at Manchester Crown Court informed Justice Beatson they were unable to reach a majority verdict. Both men were remanded into custody while a retrial date is set.
