Critical Mass for freedom of movement

There was a poor turn out for the February Critical Mass in Gothenburg but the day was not entirely lost.
Freezing temperatures, an icy wind and a good covering of powdery snow was enough to put off all except a hardened few critical cyclists from taking to the streets to celebrate the joys of the push rod. Since we were too few to safely take the usual ride and the state of the icy streets with snow ruts and drifts making cycling a tricky business, we only rode a short distance. The consensus of the group was to join another march protesting about the treatment of immigrants trying to reach fortress Europe. After all Critical Mass is all about freedom of movement isn’t it?
