A group of peoppel have been promoting car sharing at rush hour every day in Leeds by holding banners promoting car sharing (www.carshare.org). Responses have been positive. Lets hope peopel get out of their cars....

I wonder why they use cars ?

People travel by car in Leeds because the public transport is crap. Did it not occur to you to campaign for that to be improved so that people have an alternative ?

Really people this sort of action obviously lacking any form of though in advance is pathetic

Course they could just get on their bike and have a cycle hame with other ppl like the CM that happened in Edinburgh earlier this evening. I estimated around 60-70 ppl all enjoying the traffic free ride. my mate & me broke off for some food and beer near the end. Hopefully the dude with the camera will have some shots on the Scottish site.

Well done! I walk home to Holbeck from town everyday and its just a shame that you have to walk along grey sooty roads which stick of cars….
