Huge Comedy Night in Aid of Amnesty International

Amnesty International Society University of Nottingham | 21.02.2007 17:27 | Terror War | Sheffield

Prior to Amnesty International Society's Silent Protest in Nottingham City Centre on 10th March, the Society are hosting a huge comedy night fundraiser on 27th February at the 'Horn in Hand'!

Make a note in your diary! Amnesty International Society at the University of Nottingham are hosting an evening of comedy at the 'Horn in Hand' nr. train station in the city centre on 27th February. Following the massive success of our previous comedy nights, this event promises to be fantastic!! We currently have eight comics signed up for a marathon evening of 'virtuous' fun, with all proceeds going to Amnesty International UK. The evening will also fund our up-and-coming protest against the human rights abuses at Guantanamo Bay- the protest will be held in Nottingham City Centre, Long Row East on March 10th. Whether you want to get involved in some active campaigning, or just fancy a bit of a giggle, please do support us! Tickets for the comedy night will cost approx £4 on the door, and we hope to start the evening at around 8.30-9pm (arriving early is usually advised as it can get rather busy)! Hope to see you there!!
