Indymedia Server is running spyware - YOU NEED TO TAKE ACTION
hacker | 21.02.2007 12:08
The Indymedia server is scanning the ports of everyone who views the site and is downloading spyware to the machines being used.
Be warned, update your firewalls, check your ISP logs, run anti virus software, consider using an internet cafe rather than your own machine when viewing Indymedia.
It is not clear if this is being done by Indymedia, an individual with password access or by some sort of State Security operation running the site as a Trojan but this is serious software shit, not some student in his bedroom.
For help check out any of the popular firewall sites, many of them are freeware and will help but for those who want to stay fully off-net consider using an alternative pc or mac
Be warned, take action NOW - NOW - NOW
