Irish times Editor to appear in court over destruction of evidence.

Chris Murray | 19.02.2007 10:05 | Analysis

Geraldine kennedy , the editor of the Irish times is to appear
in court with Colm Keena journalist over publication of evidence
that created a political scandal in Ireland some months ago.

Nothing about it in the Irish Newspapers this morning.
The Irish times is leading with the Thatcherite Privatisation party- funny that.

The Political crisis caused by leaking sub- judice evidence in relation to
planning payments which led to a political crisis handed the balance of
political power to the PD party. They are a party of Privatisation, who
have a similar immigration and deportation policy to 'New Labour'.
Ireland enjoys one of the longest data retention periods in Europe
due to the offices of the PD Minister for Justice and Tanaiste, the
worst prison system and the whole gamut of post 9/11 repression.

The editor of the Irish times was an active parliamentary member
of this party.

The Planning controversy led to a crisis which saw the Taoiseach
implicated in corruption and handed the moral perogative to the
right -wing party with a 3% of the National vote to lead Government.

The whole thing was a piece of theatre, the Irish Times, this
morning leads with the usual Tory vote-grabbing shite that
passes as political policy for that party.

[you may like to wiki Geraldine Kennedy- interesting lady
she brought down a government before, in relation to a
bugging scandal].

The whole dynamic that drives the present Irish Government is
evident from the Situation in Rossport and the Tara (M3) planning
controversy, where sweeping planning changes are facilitated
by a regime that has made a capitalist model known as the
PPP- which is a tri-partite system based in the legislature, the
community and the crony lobby facilitating the sell out of land
or the breaking of unions in a very slick manner which is then
backed up by the fourth estate- the unfree Press.

Many EU nations are studying the tri-partite proccess of the FF/PD
government, and attempting to apply it in their jurisdictions.
The hospitals are infected with MRSA, the schools are starved
of good teaching staff. There is a 'race to the top' mentality
of accquisitive 'meritocracy' and the media sustains the chattering
classes who are busy buying up cheap property in Eastern Europe.

The Court will today ask the editor of the Irish Times why she destroyed
evidence which implicated the leader of the FF party in a scandal.

The Tanaiste will attempt to close the Mahon Tribunal on planning
payments before the 'Quarryvale' module and there is an election
coming.

(of course there may be legal moves to stop the case until
after the general election, which an Taoiseach asserted could be
on July the Fourth- sure why not the US owns Ireland anyhow)

Berties Bombshell

Bertie fears what will come out of the next module if the Tribunal. Certain members of FF may be linked to the unorthodox selling of the Quarryvale lands by the State. Bertie himslf will be questioned about his finances. It is unlikely that the judge will accept that a Minister for Finance had no bank account for several years.
