I see that the above post which detailed a rise in race hate crimes in 2006 was hidden by Indymedia moderator 'shiar'. The excuse given ?

Perhaps we could have an explanation of what made it in "innacurate".
The report was produced by the Community Security Trust, a respected and often quoted authority on these issues. Were perhaps the numbers in the report "innacurate" ? No a check on the website of the CST double checked against other sources such as the GLA proves them accurate. Was it the quote from CTC spokesman Mark Gardiner ? No again spot on.
I wonder if it could be that 'shiar' doesn't like posts that show Jews are victims of race attacks in the UK, that these attacks have risen alarmingly in the past year ? Why of course not, I mean that would imply that 'shiar' and the group controlling the newswire is pushing an anti Jewish agenda and we all know that's not true don't we ! After all the newswire has certainly never been doing that a lot in the past year has it ?

Blatant trolling - in fact the article is a corporate repost which breaches the guidelines. The mod singled out had nothing to do with hiding it .
Whether or not the CST is a reliable source is for each individual to decide for themselves.
According to the Jewish Chronicle it's a pro-Israel advocacy group:
"On Wednesday, the board of Bicom, the British Israel Communications and Research Centre, agreed a multi-million pound action plan to be carried out over the next three years through existing organisations engaged in pro-Israel advocacy. These include the Jewish Leadership Council, the Community Security Trust and all three major political Friends of Israel groups."
