Since indymedia offers open publishing, contributors will be paid by all sorts of people, depending on where they work. If some of them work for MI5, as some disruptive posters probably do, then that's who will pay them.

But nobody gets paid by, nor "works for" indymedia. There is no office, no employees, no journalists, no photographers, no film crews. indymedia stays independent because it's not reliant on outside cash.

well speaking for myself, I have instructed mi5, gadaffi etc to make monthly payments directly into one of my many secret swiss bank accounts. i know for an absolute fact that other imc volunteers are paid with smack, gold bullion, blood diamonds, free air flights, stretch limos, weapons, prostitutes etc. I have to spend most of my earnings on pink tablets to prevent me having wild delusions. how about you?
