venus has put on this event for several years now, and each one has been a bigger success. for various reasons it looked like it couldn't happen this year, but a 'love collective' has picked up the gauntlet and the love circle will be happening next saturday at noon

expect samba, expect sound system, expect art, expect a true moment of love. don't expect valentine's merchandise, don't expect anyone telling you what to do.
hundreds of people will gather together and hold hands round the statue at piccadilly circus sending out true love to all the beings in all the worlds.
bring yourself, bring food to share for a huge picnic, bring a musical instrument if you play one, but above all, bring love and bring a friend.
please network info about this event as far and wide as you can, and come whatever the weather. in past years, we've cleared the rain and sent the clouds packing with just the power of love.

You have no idea how exciting it is for me to see Reclaim Love enter its 4th year. With so much fear in this wonderful, stunning world its beautiful to see people making this stand for the yummiest medicine for all our problems, LOVE....Originally I chose Valentines day as a day to bring attention to the privitisation of our most radiant, free, infinite resource, LOVE. People go out shopping to buy things to prove they love eachother, and quite often a teddy with "I Love You" probably sewn on by a young child in a sweat shop in China, or flowers sprayed with monsanto fertillisers and pesticides....ummm... this cant be really how we show we Love to eachother. It seems that not only do we shop for Love but we seem to think it is a thing for the elite couples or mothers with babies. It has got to be one of the most political issues in the world, this Love.
It is not after all a lack of food that people starve to death in the world, it is a lack of love and respect for our fellow humans that we do not distribute the food but instead burn or dump food to keep market prices high. It is our love that will ensure this will not continue to let people starve this way. It is our love and respect that will save the rainforests and end racism and greed and cruelty. Its a divine medicine and its FREE.
Being a lover in this day and age takes heart felt dedication and practice. we can just practice a little daily and feel that lovely heart of ours soften and uplift and open and shine like a lighthouse so that others feel safe to be as lovely as they were when they were babies.
It challenges many people inlcuding a couple of people who left comments above, well maybe they could do with a big cuddle too. People feel more and more under pressure to be hard hearted and they feel scared to show how lovely they are and thats ok but lets send them lots of love on the day when the circle is made. and lets send plenty of love to all these warlords and arms dealers and others who profit from coldheartedness. there is no point in sending them more anger. there is enough anger and rage and fear polutting the planet.
We are One. It is unavoidable. So we need to work together as One. Its simply they only thing we ahve in common no matter what language we speak, no matter what colour we are, everyone no matter what they are saying or doing when they meet you they are simply saying "Love Me". You may not believe this of the bully or the angry nutter, but of course they are... what esle would anyone say.... its all we want. So lets work it out, we are O-I_L, One In Love.... lets rock this living loving generous planet back into shape.
Enjoy the day, dance your love and hold me in your hearts, I cant make this year, my father died and I my love is needed here in Dublin, but I am with you in spirit and make sure you will be at all teh Reclaim Love`s forever. My plan is to make it Global, in a collective conciousness experiement to do a conciousness shift...2012... so get lots of practice in... keep loving... I Love you All....
