Though shame they don't know the simple trick for dismounting riders - two of you on one side grab a leg (the huntsman's not the horse) and lift. The redcoat falls off the other side. I've seen this in action at the Beaufort with amusing effect. He won't get badly hurt, but it will stop him whipping you :0)
