Iranian refugees from Birmingham's Iranian Refugee Association braved the snow this afternoon in Birmingham City Centre to protest against the Islamic regime of Iran and voice their opposition to any imminent military attack on Iran by the UK and US governments.

The protest sought to engage the attention of progressive people in Birmingham and to highlight the solution to the stand off between Iran and the US/UK led coalition is to support the movement for democracy in Iran. This movement is heroically striving to overthrow the reactionary and brutal Islamic regime, and this won't be achieved if there is a military attack on Iran.

Come and talk to Iranian refugees who have fought for democracy against the Islamic regime. As a result of this struggle they have been forced to take refuge in cities like Birmingham.
