CSSGJ talk on 'Britain's national narrative'

What is Britain's relationship to the developing world - and how is this relationship negotiated and retold to suit current needs? What is 'global citizenship' and what does it imply in terms of contemporary politics?

The Centre for the Study of Social and Global Justice (CSSGJ) spring seminar programme will open with a talk by former Nottingham student and activist April Biccum, currently lecturer in Politics and IR at the University of Lancaster. Her talk is entitled 'Britain's National Narrative: Popularising Development and Global Citizenship'.

The talk is from 5pm to 6.30pm in the Delta Suite of Nottingham University Staff Club, Main Campus to be followed by drinks in the bar.
