(A World worth living)
- Those who provoke racism are parasites, we are laborers!
- We are not the reason for unemployment, we ourselves are unemployed!
- We are not dangerous but we ourselves are in danger!
- We want free education and health care and fair chance for all!
- Stop deportations! Status for all!

YASANACAK DUNYA (A World worth living)
is a monthly newspaper published for migrants coming from Turkey in Europe. The 3 year-old newspaper has its central bureau in Koln-Germany. It is distributed in Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Great Britain, Netherlands by its own readers.

The editorial line of the newspaper is based on two essential targets. First, to meet to some extent the intellectual, social needs of migrant labourers in Europe. To bring a breath of fresh air to these people who have been stuck between work and home and who have been condemned to an intellectual aridity. To put colors of life into their world. The content of the newspaper has been determined according to needs and expectations of different social circles. It has specially designed pages for workers, migrant women and youth which bring the world agenda, developments in Turkey, scientific-cultural-artistic works into their vision and which enhances intellectual activity through puzzles, chess games and other means of “entertainment” culture.

Secondly, it exposes the neoliberal policies aiming at economic and social destruction of people and their potential results. Our handling of issues is not limited with exposure of capitalism but with a perspecitive of mobilisation. Now our tendency has gained a conrete expression and turned into a campaign to organise the migrants.

Our newspaper's campaign for migrants, which is to be carried out in all European countries where our readers reside, carry the name “I work hard and live here!”. The migrants have lost self-trust due to the demagogy that “Migrants are parasites” and fallen into fear and anxiety for the future. This is obvious for everyone living here. This being the case, the Turkish-Kurdish people still cannot be a part of the fermenting migrant movement in Europe especially in France. These movements consist of mostly other national minorities whereas laborers from Turkey have a population of four and a half million people which is a considerable social force. However, a rather low performance is observed to mobilise this social force in an organised way! What is seen is fear, anxiety and a state of being wrapped up in oneself resulting from uncertainity in future. In order to break this negative mood, we named our campaign as such. Self-awareness shall lead to the regain of self-esteem and trigger the will-power to stand up as an organized power against all attacks. Against the rising racist rhetoric, our campaign wants to give a powerful message to European laborers.

Our campaign aims to deal with unemployment, unequality of chance and disciminating approaches in education within the framework of racism and terror consepts. Our slogans are:

- Those who provoke racism are parasites, we are laborers!
- We are not the reason for unemployment, we ourselves are unemployed!
- We are not dangerous but we ourselves are in danger!
- We want free education and health care and fair chance for all!
- Stop deportations! Status for all!

“I work hard and live here!” may be enhanced and enbroadened with your propositions and support. We expect that you show sensitivity to this issue and wish you success in your work.
