Just looks like an ADVERT (which is against the editorial guidlines) for some shitty sub-cultural wankfest. It reminds me of Trashbat in the TV sitcom "Nathan Barley", don't you think?

huh wtf

WTF is this then??? Looks like some shitty commercial "subculture" wankfest to me that wouldn't go amiss in "Nathan Barley". Strange how my initail complaint about advertising was taken down, what's wrong, can't people here stand criticism?

So what is it then?

Shitty commercial faux-rebellion wankfest or legit political fundraiser? Since there is nothing in the original post to state it's the latter I am going to carry on assuming it's the former.

And while the rest of us are partying away, why don't you sit in front of the fire with a pipe and a hardback copy of Goldman, eh?

My question has STILL not been answered

22.01.2007 18:13

Is this a commercial event, or a fundrasier/awareness raiser? From the infomation that I can get from the article there is nothing to say that it an awareness raiser, and the fact it costs £5 to get in makes it seem rather dubious in my books.

If it turns out to that this is a fundraiser/whatever then sorry to have annoyed you, if it is just a commerical event I must politely tell you to piss off, there are millions of sites you can plug your event, Indymedia isn't one of them.

Mr. Humph.

Oops...

Just answered the question myself, it's in the intro:

"benefit and info gig feeding into the upcoming Reclaim The Future party"

Still seems Nathan Barley-esque to me but I know nowt and I am in a bad mood anyway, so ignore me, and Indy mods, feel free to hide this, I am sorry for acting like a twat.
