LETTER FROM NIKAIA GENERAL HOSPITAL, GREECE

(A)NONYMOUS | 18.01.2007 08:55 | World

THE PASSION FOR FREEDOM IS GREATER THAN ANY CELL.

We have spent the last period in Nikaia hospital in conditions of isolation, without phone contact, without easy access to newspapers, and under continuous harassment during lawyers' and relatives' visits. We have nevertheless been informed of your continual and ever-intensifying solidarity actions, as well as of their confrontation on the part of the State. Having lost
any "humane" facade, the atrociousness of their true face is increasingly manifest as with particular zeal they repress any effort at publicity of our collective struggle. The police's severe beating of V. Grivas, last Saturday January 13, is characteristic. We are especially glad when we are aware of you - the immediate contact and power of your solidarity give us the courage and strength to continue.

AS MUCH AS THEY TRY TO SUBJUGATE CONSCIENCES, SO MUCH WILL CONSCIENCES REBEL.

THE PASSION FOR FREEDOM IS GREATER THAN ANY CELL.
