ANOTHER WAR ON TERROR ATROCITY:
U.S. Bombing of Somalia

DEMONSTRATION: Saturday 20th January
1pm-3pm Churchill Square, Brighton

On January 9th the US launched a bombing campaign against Somalia killing over one hundred civilians as another front in the ‘War on Terror’.

Somalia was attacked by Ethiopian forces on Christmas Eve, with the full support of the US. The invasion killed hundreds and destroyed a government that had won popular support by bringing an end to the warlords that had torn the country apart for 16 years.

We must resist the Britain’s support for the US War on Terror. In Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Lebanon and now Somalia it is civilians that have suffered from US plans to dominate the world by force

What rubbish, where were you when the Union of Islamic Courts was banning women from the streets ? Was stopping all abortions ? Was forcing everyone and anyone to prayer five times a day ?

The US forces attacked Islamic extremists who had illegaly taken over Somalia and were forcing upon it a Theocracy. Wake up you prat ! Your blind hatred of the USA is pathetic

Country so poor its invaded by Ethiopia. Ethiopia? Remeber Live Aid? Not really the most superpowerful superpower, people just sitting ducks for USA bombers, even Israel didn't ask the Americans to do the bombing for them.

How many more countries will we hear of only when the Americans bombs dropping?
