Its worth checking out the most recent "freepress.org" piece about the (bungled attempt) at the theft of the USA elections - 2006 - to see what all this bombing, "surges", rattle of sabres, stirred up internal war etc is all about.
Even the most recent "internal infowar" bit of spin - the execution of the ex-iraqi leader, timed for the new year break, is "doom,doom - THIS is our fate if caught!"

But seeing as people are having some "backbone stiffened" at present, so that they serve as a bit of a distraction to allow time for others to fool themselves that THEY "get away with it" - when the next "culture war" is declared, against "internal" weirdo groups, opportunist, jumped-up hustlers - with the sad, bitter old ex-spy types that operate them . . . . clamping down to suppress a peace process that icluded them might seem as stupid as it is.
But remind them - somebody told them that was going to happen.
