Reporters Without Borders - New online petition

Dear Mr President,
I would like to draw your attention to the 24 journalists currently imprisoned in your country. Some have been sentenced to prison terms ranging from 14 to 27 years for allegedly undermining the security of the state. Others are being held without trial. To my knowledge, they were simply trying to do their job as journalists, as guaranteed by article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. I therefore ask you to intervene with your government to obtain their immediate release and legal pardon.
Yours faithfully,

Reporters Without Borders has an ongoing petition drive asking Castro to release the prisoners. You can sign the petition here. (A technical note: Reporters Without Borders is based in Paris, so the confirmation e-mail you will receive after signing the petition will be in French. Just in case you don't read French, the confirmation e-mail asks you click on the link to complete the petition signature process. Castro won't receive your message until you click on the link.)
