New London Food Not Bombs Group

A new Food Not Bombs group is being started in the London area, and are looking for more people to be involved in the project. We will be holding our FIRST MEETING tommorrow (Tueday 9/1/07) at the Rising Sun pub, Torrington Place (nearest tube - Goodge Street) at 2.10pm
A group of activists based in London have started a new Food Not Bombs group in London, aiming to serve free, vegan food to all who need it on a weekly basis. The aim would be to begin serving on the weekend of the 20th/21st of January. The location for servings will be discussed together and decided upon collectively.
The aim of the Food Not Bombs group is to promote community organisation, autonomy, enviromental awareness and veganism/vegetarianism. We will operate on horizontal principles, attempting to prefigure the different world we want to create in our struggles against the old world. For more about Food Not Bombs see www.foodnotbombs.net
