I walked through a ward today in a childrens hospital.There were no teddys or decorations.The nursing staff were not roaming from bed to bed to cheer up their patients.The children just lay on their backs staring at the ceiling.The ages are from betwwen 2 and 6,but some may be underdeveloped and older.In the garden was a galleon,donated by the Beatles,i was told.We took one boy out to slide a slide.But very quickly two nurses took him back.He never knew.But if it happend more he may have.And were is this hospital?Some backwater in central europe?.No.Its in good old England.
