On October 6, 1976, an airplane from the Cuban company Cubana de Aviacion exploded in the air near the coasts of Barbados. This explosion was the first terrorist attack against a civil airplane in the Western Hemisphere and killed 73 persons, including the Cuban junior Fencing team of that was returning from a competition in Venezuela.

There is enough evidence that this murder, known as the Crime of Barbados, was planned by Luis Posada Carriles and Orlando Bosch Avila, two of the most dangerous terrorists in the Western Hemisphere. The terrorists have shamelessly recognized this and other crimes.

Currently, Bosch lives freely in Miami, and Luis Posada Carriles, who entered the States illegally, expects to receive protection from the American government.

According to international treaties, everyone accused of terrorism against a civil airplane will be brought to trial. Venezuela has formally requested the extradition of Posada Carriles, who is also a Venezuelan citizen and a fugitive of Venezuelan justice since 1985.

We, the families of those who lost their lives in such a despicable crime, have united and created the Committee of the Families of Victims of the Barbados Airplane Explosion Demand Justice.

This site has been created with the purpose of sharing information and reaching those who oppose that the government of the United States give refuge to this infamous terrorist.
