Media DOES promote war

Insurgent | 13.11.2006 19:09 | Anti-militarism

As antiwar activists have always known; the UK mainstream media does promote a pro-government, pro-war agenda. Now the academics have proved it, so the government and their toadies can stop whining about the soft media "liberati".

The study by academics from three major universities led by Dr Piers Robinson from The University of Manchester found that the mainstream media in the UK was more likely to report good news for the US/UK authority and much less likely to give antiwar commentators a voice.
The academics also showed that far from the antiwar bias claimed by the government, the mainstream media, including liberal “antiwar” media, consistently promote the government line and back away from humanitarian questions and critical questioning.

Now I know why I wasn't much good at school. I wasn't dumb enough.

They had to have a study by academics from three major universities to figure that out?

But I only have 3 O levels and I could have told them that years ago.

Sigh.
