Israel is sending a clear message to the world, that it cannot be reasoned with or made to rethink its policies of death & destruction, in its Perpetual War to wipe Palestine off the map.

Gaza violence, mounting death toll, provoke grave concern in Security Council, with more than 40 speakers demanding halt to Israeli military operations

Considering the numerous recent, exposed LIES told by the Olmert Regime, as well as their targeting and murder of UN personnel in Lebanon, the Council should demand to see Israel's evidence before accepting their allegations.

Italy calls on the U.S. to press Israel on Palestinian conflict

By Reuters

Italy's Foreign Minister Massimo D'Alema called on the United States on Friday to refocus its foreign policy following midterm elections, saying it was time to stand up to Israeli hawks over the Palestinian conflict.

A staunch critic of the Iraq war, D'Alema said he did not expect a sudden shift in President George W. Bush's foreign policy following his party's defeat in mid-term elections.

But he called on Bush to press Israel, where he said the military was lashing out in Gaza to prove its might after failing to defeat Hezbollah in Lebanon.

"I'm referring to a government weakened from the Lebanon conflict, pressed by the right, with the accusation of not being determined enough in its military operation," he said.

He said the U.S. should make resolving the Palestinian conflict its priority.

"Until now, the Bush administration has always held that it was an issue that it couldn't touch because, in essence, it could not disturb Israel," D'Alema said.

"There is a dramatic situation, full of risks for a disintegration of the Palestinian society, with destabilizing effects for the entire area. And there must be action to push Israel."

Speaking about Iraq, D'Alema said there was no easy solution, adding that negotiations would eventually be needed with groups too often "simplistically" branded terrorists in order to isolate imported al Qaeda fighters.

D'Alema also called for a review of international strategy in Afghanistan giving more weight to non-military solutions to the conflict.

Sadly, the highest positions in the Democratic congress will be filled by people, like Nancy Pelosi, who have pledged their allegience to Israel, and accepted hush money from AIPAC.

USA to try and halt condemnation of Israel at the UN

UNITED NATIONS.— The UN Security Council met today in an emergency session called by Qatar to tackle the situation in the Palestinian occupied territories, reported EFE.

Qatar – the only Arab nation represented on this UN body – has proposed a motion condemning Israel and ordering a ceasefire. Many doubt that it will be successful because of opposition by the United States.

In the session, Angela Kane, the UN’s joint general secretary for political affairs, read out a review of the events that led to the tragedy in the settlement of Beit Hanun, in the north of Gaza, in which 18 Palestinians, the vast majority women and children, died as a result of Israeli gunfire.

Ryiad Mansour, the representative of the Palestinian National Authority to the UN, called the massacre in Beit Hanun “state terrorism” and urged them to bring those responsible to justice.

“How many more Palestinians must die before the Security Council acts?” he asked.

After mourning the inaction on the part of the Council and the international community, he warned that Israel’s “culture of impunity” cannot continue.

“We have warned that the absence of a firm and clear position on the part of the international community to call for an immediate end to Israeli military aggression will result in a greater number of Palestinian deaths,” he affirmed.

No doubt France understands that Israel has carried out several phony "investigations" in the recent past.

Will the Israeli people march on Parliament and DEMAND an end to this Zionist brutality? It's time for Israelis of conscience to hold the Extremists' feet to the fire, and bring an end to their war to wipe Palestine off the map. To the streets!

The Olmert Regime issues its usual "Aww, shucks", and we're all supposed to ignore what's happened here. Imagine if that had been an entire Israeli family ... Would platitudes from Hamas make it all better?

A brutal taste of the future

The assault on Beit Hanoun is a terrifying example of what lies in store for Palestinians
