Rhythms of Resistance Manchester (RORM)* will be holding a samba percussion workshop on 12th November at 6pm at the Basement, 24 Lever Street, M1, as part of the Creative Activism exhibition. Join us for a fusion of politics and music, protest and carnival.
No previous experience in drumming is needed, and instruments will be available for you to have a go but if you have one feel free to bring it along! :-)
The workshop is free, but any donations will be welcomed greately.
What is RORM?
*RoRM is a radical percussion band that plays at street protests and direct actions. We see street carnival as a vital component of life and fun. We wish to create, through tactical frivolity, a world of equality, social justice and peace.
