99 yellow balloons in Gothenburg, a follow up of Saturday’s climate action

After our successful balloon action on Saturday we in Gothenburg’s FoE decided to strike while the irons hot and give our local liberal rag another chance of a climate change story.

Balloons just happened to get fastened to the wiper blades of a lot of parked cars on Monday in Gothenburg. Printed balloons with the text “60m by car = so much CO2” and a small flyer explaining that a balloon holds about 8 litres, roughly the same amount of CO2 that a normal car emits every 60m or so. Something to think about!

If you try this at home, wait for a day that isn’t windy, honest.
