Israeli Crimes Against Humanity (Campaign Update)

At the dawn of the 21st Century, we believe humanity must have the inalienable right NOT to be killed or maimed by cluster bombs in their front yard, witness their dying or dead baby's wounds catch fire when exposed to air, or suffer new forms of cancer caused by contamination with uranium bombs.

The Israeli crimes against humanity have not ended. The contamination legacy of Israeli 'enriched uranium bombs' used in southern Lebanon is surfacing.
According to Dr Chris Busby, the British Scientific Secretary of the European Committee on Radiation Risk, soil samples taken from two sites destroyed by "Israeli heavy or guided bombs showed 'elevated radiation signatures.'"

"'The health effects on local civilian populations following the use of large uranium penetrators and the large amounts of respirable uranium oxide particles in the atmosphere,' Busby report says, 'are likely to be significant.'"

The revelations about the Israeli use of enriched uranium bombs come amid the mounting casualty toll claimed by the 1.2 million unexploded cluster bombs fired by Israeli artillery during the last three days of the conflict [despite the ceasefire]. The cluster munitions have killed at least 22 souls, mostly women and children, maimed more than 120 civilians and wounded many more.

Meanwhile, the murder toll in Gaza reached 311 Palestinians last week including 62 children and 13 women, with another 1071 injured, including 315 children and 44 women since the beginning of Israel's 'Operation Summer Rains' this June.

PRAGUE, 16 February 2006 (RFE/RL) -- Human rights violations remain widespread in Iran, where the new government has failed to take action to address the situation, according to Amnesty International.

That is the central conclusion of a new report entitled, "Iran: New Government Fails To Address Dire Human Rights Situation," by the London-based international rights advocacy group.

The group expresses concern about what it says appears to be intensifying repression since the new government took office in August 2005.

The report says current tensions over the country's nuclear program must not distract either the government or the international community from addressing the country's human rights problems.

but Busby's analysis makes no sense at all.

If it were some 'small experimental nuclear fission device' then that would be immediately obvious from the radioactivity of the fission products, which would swamp any radioactive signature from the uranium. He must know that, and so I am suspicious as to his motives in putting forward this hypothesis.

For a thermobaric weapon, you don't need enhanced urnaium. Uranioum straight from the ground is sufficient. The difference in chemical and physical properties between uranium isotopes is tiny, which is why is it is so difficult to separate them.

Israel was using DU munitions - tank shells and bombs - in Lebanon. It has the dubious honor of possessing the fourth largest stockpile of depleted uranium in the world. Every DU munition - made of depleted U-238 - contains trace amounts of either U-235 or U-236, depending on the source, the former deriving from the enrichment process, while the latter is present in spent reactor fuel. There is nothing "exotic" or "experimental" about the munitions Israel used in Lebanon. Sampling and analysis of these DU munitions - in bomb craters, etc., will reveal traces of U-235 and/or U-236. Of course, this clarification says nothing about Israel's vicious and predatory presence in the Middle East. It merely points out that Israel was not using anything new to kill and maim the people of Lebanon and lay waate to their land.

Some differences, Israel is rogue nuke state no 1 and is U.S backed. Iran wants to become rogue nuke state no 2 and is on the U.S Evil Doers list. In the last 50 years the western powers have interferred in Irans internal affairs including installation of peacock regime of the Shah by BP.
Israel's history in the last 50 years makes rather sad reading for the people who have been "cleansed" .
