24 hour peace camp in Parliament Square Sunday 29th October

Bring the war home | 26.10.2006 09:14

There will be a 24 hour peace camp in Parliament Square starting at 12noon on Sunday the 29th of October. It will begin with the reading of the names of dead Iraqis killed by coalition forces since the 2003 invasion.

Bring a tent and a sleeping bag, plus any banners and join us. Lets remind hte war crimuinals in Parliament who are guilty of an illegal aggression war and mass genocide that they can't hide and will eventually be brought to book for their crimes. Note that this action does not have permission and is completely unauthorised.

Less people will turn up than hoped

The organisers will claim there was more people there than the reality

The Police will not allow the tents to be pitched in Parliment Sq

A small group will object to the Police stopping them and will end up being arrested, they will say the Police were "brutal"

Most people will drift away having no real idea of what occured

A report will be posted to Indymedia claiming the event was a sucess, this will be disputed by someone who was there.

Somebody else (a women, for some reason it's always a women) will say she was there and was "inspired" by the day

Some pictures will be posted, these will show the Police standing around and those attending standing around, there will be at least one picture of the Police FIT team.

A final post will appeal for witneses to an arrest on the day

been there, done that
