Iraqi woman executed by public stoning
A 22-year-old Iraqi woman was stoned to death in the town of Al-Qaim, 320 km northwest of Baghdad, according to a report released by various news agencies based in the Iraqi capital. An Iraqi doctor, who asked to remain anonymous, told the news agencies that the young woman was accused of adultery and sentenced to death by a local al-Qaeda branch.
The sentence was then carried out by public stoning, according to the Islamic Sharia law, after a large crowd gathered in Al-Qaim. It is though this is the first time that this kind of execution, typical of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan, actually occurred in Iraq.
Meanwhile, in the Western Iraq city of Hit, the Mujahedeen Council, an Iraqi insurgent group associated with al-Qaeda, reportedly handed out leaflets against coeducational schools and with death threats against every girl who attend any kind of school.

An adulterous married woman would be stoned to death, as would an adulterous married man, both sexes of unmarried participants get the 100 lashes. so Sharia law is not sexist It is equal treatment. A man having one hundred lashes is perhaps not newsworthy?

In the even more civilised West people are sentenced to death on evidence that would be thrown out by a good Sharia Court, and then tortured for years by being held on death row until eventually an execcution is administered that is often no quicker than an enthusiastic stoning.
Do not besmirch the good name of Barbarians. Concentrate on the urgent job on hand - destroying Civilisation before it exterminates all life on the planet. That is now a very real Danger.

It is pointless to fiction an argument about death penalties, perhaps we could argue about something more useful: "In this age of HIV, anyone killing their sex partner for having unprotected sex with another should be able to claim justifiable homicide. If promiscuity is so much part of the human condition as to be unaviodable, then people should establish closed circles of promiscuity, and it should be justifiable homicide to kill a group member who strays outside the group."
The degenerate vermin who called themselves civilised might call that a barbarous proposal, it is perhaps a good starting point for recreating a strong Barbarian society that can overthrow Civilisation to give a chance that Life might survive beyong 2020.
