The first ever poll of Students' Union Presidents may serve as a wake up call to the NUS.

www.StudentsFirst.co.uk has published the results of a poll of 108 Students' Union Presidents.

The website has also published analysis from various people within the student movement.

The poll, the first of a monthly initiative by the StudentsFirst group shows the main issues facing student - as told be SU Presidents.

Not surprisingly, top of the poll comes Top-Up Fees. But accomodation, University courses and NUS affiliation fees also played a prominent role.

Comment by Coventry Students' Union President, Chris Smith in particularly highlighted discontent by grassroots student activists at what they see as high fees by the NUS and little effectiveness.
