Yet another anti-war mass action outside Parliament

Bring the war home | 11.10.2006 09:38

Saturday 29 October 2006 “Unauthorised” 24-hour peace camp in Parliament Square to demand an end to the occupation. Assemble 12 noon, Parliament Square.

The camp will begin with Maya Evans and Milan Rai reading the names of Iraqis who have died as a result of US/UK military action in Iraq – one year after their arrest for doing this in Oct 2005 (see box). They will also be joined by former UN Humanitarian Co-ordinator for Iraq Denis Halliday and Iraqi artist Haifa Zangana.
Please note: this is a potentially arrestable action.

Spread the word about this as far and wide as possible lets make it a much bigger success than the Sack Parliament action.

How would you measure that? At least the Sack Parliament actions had an aim, this just reminds people that there's a war on.

This is an illegal demonstration if we can pull it off it will be a success

This demonstration is illegal under SOCPA legislation as it does not have prior permission so if we can pull it off with out loads of arrests that will be a success in itself.
