with a reference to actual attempts at assassinating Roosevelt in 1933 as the metaphor from the past we should actually check out

. . . . yes, roosevelt actually met his untimely end after re-election, as the UN was taking shape - in 1945 - but even if that timing was suspicious in retrospect too, what we all have a fascinating amount of proof of is the attempt at assassinatig him in advance of the inauguration - the man next to him died - but also the actual congressional inquiry into the attempt at a coup in the USA in 1932 - he refers to it - in that oblique way of his - in his inaugural address, but the actual inquiry - by a commitee that - later - infamously - achieved its reputation as the "house unamerican activities commitee" !
Worth searching out info about in front of "this" small screen rather than soaking up a load of easy to predict infowar in front of the other - but its 9pm or somebody might have video-d it. . . .
