The Line
An editorial by

There are things you do not do as a nation you know rules as soldiers as governments you do not cross. Detention centers, interrogation centers. The President says we are in a war, even thou undeclared in every circumstance, but the rules of engagement are sacrosanct in every way concerning combatants involved be they Taliban, El gaieda and insurgents. We have been part of and did take part in the Geneva Conference in 1929 to 33 I am not sure of exact date of the conference but a treaty was signed by us and ratified by the Congress of the United States of America. We also started the human rights commission after World War II, so why do we cross the line, why did the Bush redefine warrior from partisan, insurgent and gorilla.
War defined is battle between legions regiments’ army’s, partisans and so forth. The rule of law, the rule of war says specifically that combatants shall be treated humanely and by the rules of war, which mean medical care and so on access to clerics and priest. As Americans no matter what or how the enemy attacked us, we never cross the line into torture and detention camps period and we do not redefine status to fit our own perverse attitudes of War and revenge. Yes September 11th happened but I wonder was it an attack on the United States or was it a set up by corrupt politicians in Washington with a little help from their friends in the Royal families of Central Asia.
We will never know and why are we not chasing that Son of a frack know were spending time and lives in Iraq, our new Vietnam hell we even matched KIA to those killed on 11 September. What have we gained? A new colony, oil, pay offs. The government wins and the people lose their lives in a brush war we never should have started. Thirty five hundred dead, twenty thousand five hundred wounded maimed and scared for life for what? Black gold, bigotry, hatred and fear and unknown, since taking power in two thousand, one mistake after another; one scandal after another, appointments of people who could never lead a Johnny detail without directions written on their boots. Now I have heard on the net that Secretary Rice while serving as National Security Advisor had warning of an attack, she said she had no recollection of the Warning bull frack, the odds maker in Vegas say the GOP will lose the both house and Senate by a close margin hope they are right maybe we might even get an honest government back we crossed the line it is time to step back.
