More than 700 people have shared their experiences of anti-gay bullying at school on Stonewall's online survey.
"So far we can see that the bullying is pretty endemic" says Alan Wardle, Stonewall's parliamentary and public affairs spokesman.
The results will be presented in a report designed to help schools understand the extent of homophobic bullying and the steps they can take to tackle it.
The survey can be completed at: www.speakoutonline.org.uk
