27/09/06 at 8pm:

Young, naive but loud! A small band of Rhythms of Resistance Manchester sambistas walked right at the entrance of Midlands Hotel (where the labour conference delegates were staying) playing funky tunes and shouting antiwar chants.

Despite the huge police presence the sambistas managed to pass their anti war message through samba, to the Labour Party conference delegates who were staying at the hotel. To the sambistas surprise some delegates clapped and others came up to them to state how they voted against the war - "obviously" as one of the sambistas replied "the vote was not enough to stop the injustice of war". It is time for action not voting!

The sambistas' aim, was to make an anti war statement and to remind the delegates, that the demand for peace does not finish with the end of the official anti-war march.

This was a spontaneous action by Rhythms of Resistance Manchester.

No War
No Nuclear weapons
Peace Now!

I could be cynical, and point out that almost every current high-ranking member of Blair's current New Reich elite participated in similar activity when young to earn points on their political CV. Make a noise, make no difference, and make your way up the greasy pole. However, such an obvious observation about how the future political 'elite' earn their stripes has no worth compared to what is really happening.

Galloway (having himself filmed looking like an extremist mullah- amazing what a carefully chosen camera angle can do), proudly claimed ownership of the 'time to go' slogan. Thousands of people came to get rid of Blair, and discovered that their purpose had been perfectly subverted. Galloway had all the mass media outlets proclaim that 'time to go' refered to 'our boys out'. This is ALL the general public knows about the demo of the 23rd. And since the general public already feel that way, no harm was done to Blair whatsoever.

Indeed, you saw the very opposite a few days later, when Blair was re-annointed by the whole of his New Reich party, just as I told you before would happen. Galloway, who is the best because of how honestly he scores his actions on behalf of his master, will have given himself near 100%, and deservedly so.

We empower Blair. It is the biggest lie ever told people that a politician can have power over them without their support. Where people allow themselves to be confused is over the difference between "ACTIVE" and "PASSIVE" support. Active support is obvious- the enthusiastic election of a popular leader by the majority. Passive is vastly more interesting. Passive is the acceptance of the current leadership. It is the form of support that Adolf Hitler had during the worst of his time in power.

For a monster like Blair, passive support is best. Why? Because the people think they want him gone, but are settled in that position, so that he fears nothing in their thoughts. Blair merely had to ensure that all potential opposition was long ago eliminated. After various scenarios, remember that Blair now has HIS people in actual leadership of the Liberal and Conservative parties. "there is no alternative" is the most powerful meme in this form of political control.

That filthy bastard Clinton (whose wife was in public recently having multiple orgasms over the Israeli Holocaust of Lebanon) was here to illustrate how Blair has shaped a one party state in the US as well. Blair's son spends his time working for the Republican party, remember. Clinton has a phoney reputation of being a leftie, but here he is, happy to annoint a monster who willingly works with the most extreme racist right-wing republician party the US has ever seen. A party that only a weekend ago was seemingly destroying Clinton's reputation with a docu-drama about how Clinton was to blame for 911. Some people here wouldn't notice the smell of rotten fish if they were locked in a windowless room with crates of it.

Of course, cheerleading was invented for a reason. Bright lights, exciting noises, and an attractive view to enable the closing down of the critical faculties of those in the audience. Hmmm, reminds me of the intended effect of all these promoted articles from Manchester on Indymedia UK.

Meanwhile, Blair's passive support continues, buying him crucial time. The US military think attacking Iran is insane, but Hitler faced the same problem over Poland. The answer for Hitler and Blair is the power of an ever increasing political momentum. Hit your target with ever increasing amounts of propaganda. Make the target a nation AND a so-called 'racial' group. Take total political power in all leadership positions. Ensure opposition voices (beyond those from state agents) are eliminated as far as possible. Remove ALL alternatives. Condition the world population to expect war, and war of the most disgusting kind, ALL THE TIME. Ensure that you carry out ever more evil crimes against humanity that the public see you are NEVER punished over. Make your powerbases police states. BRING IN MORE AND MORE AND MORE NEW LAWS, ESPECIALLY LAWS THAT OPPRESS THE HUMAN SPIRIT. Ensure that the public are trained to see protest as singing, dancing and NO RESULTS EVER.

The score from this week- Blair:1,000,000,000,000,000,000 Protesters:0

Meanwhile another day when multiple families have had their lives ruined as a direct consequence of the cluster bombs that Blair shipped to Israel for use on the Human habitation areas of Southern Lebanon. Another day closer to Blair's genocide of Iran. Another day closer to Blair's World War Three.

to the cynical comment above, no we do not tend to join blair's party and no we are not using that for points towards a career in a political party. We are antiwar and instead of sitting on our arses infront of the TV we got out and stated our opinions. Now go back to your sofa and sip that can of beer :-p

I wish we'd known about it. A couple of us were in town for the Rally of Resistance and we could have come and played with you guys.

where the sambistas dare...

28.09.2006 20:02

... outside the fenced-protest-desinated areas
... right where the delegates were
...discussing issues with the delegates and winning the discussions
...discussing the law with the police and winning again

so the score is:
Protestors: 4
Labour dudes in combined efford with twilight: 0
