Yesterday's main article on the BNP's website was a report on the tragic death of Gemma Louise Roberts, 18, who was found outside the Swan Hotel in Bradford Road, Liversedge, on Thursday night, following an horrific attack.

Apart from getting Ms Robert's age wrong - claiming she was 16 - the BNP used the article to print its usual violent attack on multiculturalism, claiming that, 'This is the violent and brutal reality of life on the fault lines of multiculturalism – an inherently flawed and wicked policy whose advocates should be called to account...'

In an unnecessary outburst of invective against Muslims, the far-right party claim that,'the war [against terror] is being waged on the streets of British towns and cities'. It goes on to claim that, 'It is absolutely urgent that the issue of militant Islamists; a handful of seriously wicked men who are capable of whipping up a much larger number of their co-religionists to undertake murder, rape and mayhem is properly and maturely discussed by police, politicians and the media alike.' The BNP's article closes with the line, 'Only then might another family be spared the horror of a loved one being the victim of racist and religious criminality.'

Just one problem. The only suggestion that anyone Asian was involved in the attack on Gemma Roberts came from the BNP. Nobody else mentioned that; neither witnesses, the local newspaper or the local police. Just the BNP.

In fact, the BBC reports today that a Richard Mark Hanson, 20, of Stubley Farm Lane, Liversedge, appeared at Dewsbury Magistrates' Court on Tuesday charged with Miss Roberts' murder. After a short hearing he was remanded in custody to appear at Leeds Crown Court on October 3rd.

No hint of a Muslim name - no hint of his being an Asian. Because of course, he isn't.

This BNP article smacks of a deliberate intention to incite racial hatred in the sure and certain knowledge that some people will believe anything they're told - even if they've been told it by the BNP, a political group noted for its constant lies, its racism and homophobia, its member's appalling criminal records and its disastrous and generally completely useless councillors.

Perhaps the BNP's constantly vitriolic attacks on Islam are fueled by its new-found role as the 'unflinching defender of our nation's Christian heritage and its traditional Christian values'. Or maybe it's just because the BNP is racist and would like to blame Asians and/or Muslims for anything that's going.

Nick Griffin, the party's leader, is up in Leeds Crown Court himself later in October on a charge of using words or behaviour intended to stir up racial hatred and an alternative count of using words or behaviour likely to stir up racial hatred. Perhaps there should be yet another count of the same charge added on for this fiasco. He'd certainly deserve it.

what a shitty article, I mean, the BNP are racist asholes, so far, so good, we all know this, but it shouldn't matter for a left wing person, if there would have been souch a crime, wheater the person who did it was white, asian or whatever. I really think it is disgusting, this mentality of "see, it wasn't an asian guy", because this shows somehow an indirect racism of leftwing people, I hope you know what I mean. If you're trying to suggest that this is about racism, rather than inequality, desperation and poverty, then all the victims of gang related gun crime would be white. What colour are the vast majority of the victims of UK gun crime?
