War on terror update

insideSuzi | 22.09.2006 23:55

I've been folowing the story of the War on terror boardgame since I saw them on BBC London news the other night.

After seeing the piece I found their website and laughed when I saw the following:

-- As expected, they have someone who lost their partner last July in the London bombings. What's incredible is that we are told by the show's producer that this guy took the time to read bits of our website and mentioned there were some good points. The BBC said they would probably cut this from their report as it didn't really "fit the 'shock' angle".

And then l dropped them a line, just cheering them on. I mentioned the other bit about the news not a good place to cover uk forgien policy. Heres there reply!

Thanks for the 'big up', it was a bit of a shock to hear that the beeb evening 'news' wasn't the place to go into depth on UK foreign policy. I knew it, I just can't believe she said it. Apparently time is tight on these things.

I hope you enjoy the game, when it arrives!

They seem to be saying some of the right things for me, I bought one!
