We're a suspicious old lot on the whole, and many in the movement as a whole carry the thought in the back of the mind as a standard by which to judge his and Annie's public performances
For the most part there is nothing to suggest that he is seeking to discredit the movement while his minor celebrity tends to be a bit of a draw and ensures some media attention.
He nearly always comes across as a perfectly fine articulator of the case, witness his one opportunity to do so, so far, on the BBC

The above poster claims Shayler doesn't discredit the 9/11 movement he's infiltrating. Does this mean his claims that

--there were no planes hitting the WTC, only holograms of planes
--"there is a Zionist conspiracy...the Zionists were behind 9/11"

are reasonable and sober? If so, just what would agent Shayler have to say to be unreasonable. There's one born every minute--and just after birth they seem to join the 9/11 cult.

Until the night I was not really very well informed about the conspiracy theories regarding 9/11 but was open minded and very interested so went along.

At first I was quite interested, drawn in like a murder mystery. Then it came to questions and answers... what a load of bloody wackos!!! We had one man come up and preach about how brilliant Islam is etc. etc. etc. quite funny after watching the sensationalist ending quote of the video "GIVE ME FREEDOM OR GIVE ME DEATH!".

Not sure in what order things were running but somehow David Shayler got onto the subject of Zionism. (by the way according to Shayler, the majority of Judges in this country are freemasons, the majority of which are Zionists). Then some lad at the front, probably a bit pissed got up and shouted "You're a crank mate!", everyone booed ofcourse and Shayler was getting worked up proper. The poor lad was getting kicked out, he shouted something like "I mean listen to this guy, he's talking about a Zionist conspiracy", then Shayler chased the guy right up, squared him straight up and accused him of having no conscience as well as saying "I love you, i love you, i love you".

All in all a pretty bizzarre night.

I have a hell of a lot of sympathy for both Annie and David Shayler, they have gone through a hell of a lot and I could quite easily believe he left the MI5 very honourably as he said. Maybe with all this persecution from the state he has been pushed to believe any old theory going against them I don't know.

Also, the video was very interesting, I'd be interested in seeing the full "loose change 2" (shame that the dvds which beared a label saying "free copy from skipton truth brigade whatever" were being flogged for £2).

Basically no matter how valid the 911 "truth" movement is (for the record i'm sitting on the fence) it is inevitable that it will attract paranoid lunatics, which is a great shame if the conspiracy theorists are correct.

Heidi Svenson is a real freak, she really doesn't like people questioning the government line on 7/7 whatsoever, got question what her motivation is when she continually attacks the 911 movement and Shayler's motivation for wanting to expose the criminals who blew up the WTC with explosives. She runs anarchopleb magazing NOTES FROM THE BORDER, personally I wouldn't wipe my ass with the magazine never mind spending hard earned drinking money or her retarded views.

I would contend the incident you mentioned merely added a brief frisson of edginess towards the end of the evening, otherwise in a booze-laden environment autonomous good behaviour was maintained throughout

On the subject of the dvds, you moan about a £2 price ticket on LC2, but do you know how many dvds myself and others in the group have given away for nothing.
How do you think last night's event was funded - all out of supporters private funds
Are any of us even remotely well off? No.

'Infiltrating' implies that the truth movement is full of dupes and dummies taken in by the obvious ploy of DS and AM 'taking over' the Truth movement on behalf of the government
