Swift Brian Haw Update

There was a major fiasco this morning as to which court Brian's hearing would be held. At least one person attended Marylebone was told to go to Horseferry and then at Horseferry told to go to Marylebone. Most people turned up a Horseferry (including Brian) and then dashed over to Marylebone. This only appeared to affect the defence side... as far as I could tell the prosecutors were happily sitting at Marylebone while the rest of us were running around London. Proceedings got underway rather late... the defence argued for an adjournment saying they would need 2 - 2.5 days instead of the assigned one day. The magistrate wasn't happy, but it was clear that the trial could not be held today due to the lack of time assigned to hear the case and adjourned the trial with a pre-trial hearing on the 28th Sept. which Brain does not need to attend. It wasn't as open and closed as I am making out, there were also legal issuse to do with waiting for judicial reviews and such like... but it's a bit too complicated for poor little brain to explain. But, the story continues...
