Blair visits parents of kidnapped Israeli soldiers

Ilyan | 12.09.2006 00:12

Will he now visit relatives of kidnapped British soldiers?

Those parents are almost certainly dead by now. Were they compensated?

Write a 'Dear Tony' to ask what really happened to those two British Sergeants taken by was it Irgun back around 1946. We now hear differing tales.

Sorry - It is the parents of the British soldiers who are almost certainly dead.

... we know what happened ...

... to the soliders.

They were pegged out in the negev deert with their penises sown into their mouths and left to die.

This can never be publically stated because israel is our 'friend'.

You will have absolutely no luck in attempting to put this knowledge in context or even in the public eye - in fact - that I have attepted it must make me a 'virulent anti-semite'!

Truth is unacceptable today.

Just ask Alexander S.

Erm, no jsl, you just made it up.

Official Statemnt needed.

I heard at the time that they had been hanged. Were bodies recovered? We need an official statemnt of the truth. - if that is possible from Blair.

The British reaction to whatever happened then puts the Israeli reaction to two kidnappings in a very bad light. Israel undertook a big risk of bombing the place the hostages were held. Were they counting on hitting them and putting them out of their misery?

jsl's report is probably based on Army gossip. Might be a carry over from early Afghan wars when somethings like that did happen. So it is not made up Boris, it may be misplaced.

If the bodies were never recovered, it strengthens jsl's argument.

Army gossip is not that unreliable, it was barracks gossip that started me on the hunt for the Aldershot Americam Indian rising in WW2. I found enough evidence to be certain there was shooting around a pub in Aldershot, and knew previously that most american military police in the UK had been called into England to deal with a crisis.

My request for more information about that Aldershot Indian Rising was well poo-poohed on this site.

Did Tony visit the maimed orphans or bereaved parents of Israel's invasion of Lebanon?

Hell no, he had to be protected from them by the whole Lebanese army, tanks and all!

we are delving into the depths for anti Israeli "news" why not leave that to the anti islam possee instead of imitating them with drivel like this, if you want to go back through history why not go back a thousand years to the crusades or the bloody romans for that matter ..

Drivel? One person has said what he or she believes to be true. Another said that is wrong. And told us it was Stern that did the hanging. - that was put up while I was writing 'Official Statement neded' what has happened to that comment that was up before I posted? Did it not say that the hangings was in revenge for the British hanging members of Stern?

Nothing particularly anti-israeli there. The main sequence is kicking Blair. It is odd that the most accurate best informed comment has vanished. Thanks to whoever put the record straight.

Have you taken leave of your senses? If this was a bulletin board you could magic up some ludicrous theory about why a soldier kidnapped to be used a bargaining chip for the release of Palestinian internees would be hung by Palestinians to revenge a terrorist bombing of British Occupiers by a Jewish terror organisation over 50 years ago.

However, this is a newswire, and there is no evidence that the man is dead, let alone how he might have been killed.

It is most unlikely that he was hung for the reason given.
