BOYCOTT ISRAELI GOODS DAY OF ACTION - SATURDAY OCTOBER 7TH
As the Lebanese people are reeling from Israel's illegal bombing campaign, and the people of the West Bank and Gaza are suffering a continuous onslaught from the Israeli military the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) and the Boycott Israeli Goods Campaign (BIG) are calling on activists around the country to join a day of militarism and apartheid.
PSC and BIG aim to build a mass campaign similar to that of a boycott of apartheid South Africa. The campaign focuses on Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Apartheid Israel. In addition to its brutal occupation and theft of Palestinian land, the Israeli state also operates an entrenched system of racial discrimination against its own Palestinian civilians which is among the reasons many South African activists label it an apartheid state.
On Saturday October 7th activists from PSC and BIG will organise actions around the country against corporations and institutions supporting Israel's apartheid polices and against supermarkets and shops selling Israeli goods.
