I just gave up the morphine.

I just gave up the morphine which I was taking while I was being treated for cancer.
5mg morning and evening.
I started to give up on Monday morning 4th. September. And was not looking forward to this.
Woke up feeling anxious
Back to sleep.
Had weird dream.
The runs.
Mouth very dry.
Hot. Feel sweaty.
Went to the restaurant to met Cara and Ella.
She told me she was at a concert and met a transvestite called Hamlet. They spent the time up a tree drinking cider.
The lack of morphine was hitting me.
Waves of anger/tension/sweats.
I told Ella that I had to go for a long walk, as I was feeling anxious.
Cara explained to Ella that as I had just given up drugs I was a little upset and needed a long walk.
The lady at the next table looks at us strangely.
Went for walk but got caught out. Got the runs.
Had to run into a hotel.
Home to bed.
Tuesday up at 3am.
Runs.
Feeling hot, anxious.
Shakes.
Went for lunch.
Did not make it home. Fart and hot liquid running down my leg turning cold.
The indignities of having cancer are many and varied.
Wednesday up at 5am.
Feeling rough.
Sneezing and have flu like symptoms.
Had lunch and went to movies.
The worst seems to be over.
