NON-ORGANIC RICE IN UK IS GM

REALFOOD | 06.09.2006 10:05 | Bio-technology | Education | Health

Non-organic rice sold in the UK could be genetically modified as traces have been found, please do not eat this stuff as it can affect your gut bacteria, your immune system and its DNA sequences which usually have a foreign gene, which is synthetic, read ISIS for more information  http://www.i-sis.org.uk on why to avoid these so-called foods

Genetically modified foods were approved by the US Food and Drugs Administration, which is actually known as the Food and Drinks Agency as it approves anything the corporates want. It was quickly followed by the creation of the Food Standards Agency, which amongst its other reasons to support GM (ie links to Sainsburys, Tescos and the other crap supermarkets) is that after the war the UK use to zap their food with radiation.

Hey bright people these Brits, so cultural.

Friends,

forgive my ignorance. it is not entirely clear why GMO is so wrong, apart from it is from America. crops have always been tampered with by man, and it is not different now. most non GMO food is also not incredibly safe or clean, ie. thames valley tap water, but it wont kill us. Organic rice is expensive and not a real choice for many of us. so what to do???
GMO is here, and it is not a big deal.

gm cotton in india not only looses farmers control over seeds, they produce less than organic & animals are falling down dead there in droves after eating it. We may end up putting more chemicals on soil too because if gm crops go wrong in other ways or are grown resistant to some pesticides creating monster weeds as well as destroying soil/water qaulity, "so smart & effective"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????
