Exeter postal workers voted unanimously to return to work this morning after hearing that they had won a “total victory”.

Exeter postal workers voted unanimously to return to work this morning after hearing that they had won a “total victory”.
The disciplinary moves against Fran Choules, which sparked the walkout, have been dropped and any future action against him over this incident will go through the normal procedure.
In addition management have withdrawn a range of punitive clauses over overtime, jobs and working conditions designed to hit back at those who took part in the action.
A contentious clause over job swaps has been resolved by agreement to follow the national framework.
The only worrying aspect is that management have signalled their readiness to press on with disciplinary cases against those they regard as guilty of bullying and harassment.
But workers say there are no such instances, and are ready to take action if unjustified action is taken.
Exeter postal workers should be proud of their stand, and those branches which supported them should also be congratulated.
