Published by the Greater Manchester 70th Anniversary Spanish Civil War Group and edited by the veteran anarchist Brian Bamford, this booklet £1(£1.50 post included) contains an introduction by Stuart Christie who served 3 years of a 20 year gaol sentence in Spain for his involvement with a Spanish anarchist group that made the last attempt on the life of the dictator General Franco in 1964. Other sections include an historical account of the events which led up to the war in 1936 and a section on the volunteers from Greater Mnchester, who went to Spain to fight in the war.
