From the press photographers:

We did try to attend but we were turned back by police on the main road 1 mile from the M62
we were told that only "pre arranged" press were permitted within 2 miles of the site and if we proceeded our equipment would be held for 48 hours for evidence of obstructing a police officer, we were followed by the a police car for the next 2 miles back to the motorway.
Our office then instructed we leave the area

To all the press photographers, good effort for trying to get all the way to the power station itself. What are the authorities so scared of people seeing? People have a right to know the truth about whats going on and even if they are stopped from doing so, then they need to know why and by who. And if we don't tell them, who will?
