The Daily Mail has teamed up with the Blairing BBC bureaucracy in promoting the image of
one of the BBC's ethnicity-linked peddlers, George Alagiah. The project is Bash the Pakis. Alagiah has a strange sounding name. It is curious that someone who is so full of poison against Muslims should have a non-Arabic origin and yet carry an Arabic-sounding surname. He is being flaunted as one of the Blair state's acceptable ethnic surrogates now defending society from Muslims! Ruth Kelly, a reportedly devout Roman catholic, is also being projected as another saviour of society from over-reported Muslim 'threat'! These people are aiding and abetting crimes against society and must be halted. They are breaking ALL the tenets and values that the social struggles of the past 60 years have been about establishing in this country.

The latest Relaunch of Ruth Kelly is being staged by providing another platform from which to mount attacks on the values of basic tolerance in society. Ruth Kelly is widely reported to be a believer in a religion. Does her religious belief allow her to participate in this new racist propaganda?

Whatever the various merchants of the CURRENT trade on bashing a selected group in society may say in peddling it, the fact is that the propagandists are only addressing a different target than they did when they were engaged in the latest big assault.

Other religions, other ethnic groups will be targeted in no time.

Does Ruth Kelly recognise the lethal game she is prepared to take part in and back?

Shouldn’t ‘religious people’ like her, ask the questions that apparently non religious people have been asking: what is the evidence on which all the daily doses of scare and hatred are being based?

What is being doen to all those statutory frameworks, such as the human rights conventions and the universal declarations and the uno charter by this increasing reliance of the Blaired state on scare and fear?

Shouldn’t Ruth Kelly admit to being a mere tool for the propagandists who are carrying out the agenda that has been set by invisible or at least unaccountable holders of the real power in this country?

Yet another rant from M Haque accusing an organisation of being part of an evil racist plot.

I'm not disputing that the BBC or the Daily Mail aren't whatever you are claiming they are.

But could you provide some evidence, or direct examples to back it up? Otherwise it just looks like you're making up this stuff from the top of your head.

What specifically has George Alagiah said that's upset you?

His comments in The Daily Mail (which you haven't bothered to quote) included: "I'm convinced the answer lies not in getting rid of multiculturalism altogether, still less in trying to end the diverse flow of people to Britain, but in trying to resurrect its original goal - the mixing of people of different races on an equal footing."

He then goes on to complain that not enough is being done to help young Asian people in the UK from feeling disenfranchised.

I'm guessing from previous posts that you're based in Tower Hamlets. Was it his suggestion that some of the after-school projects in the area, such as after-school Bengali lessons, might be counter-productive to community cohesion?

I'm trying to be helpful here.

My point about the Daily Mail and the BBC addresses wider matters

This is the first chance I have to make a brief comment following my post about the BBC and the Daily Mail teaming up.

I shall leave for now any follow-up comments about the role that Ruth Kelly has been assigned to perform in reviving for the benefit of the Blairing regime the spectre of a ‘ethnically worrying problem’.

The fact that George Alagiah may have been quoted as suggesting some apparently positive things, does NOT counter the Impression that the teaming up has created. That of attacking the idea of a pluralistic, multicultural broadly pro-civilising society.

If you want to trade quotations, it can be done but it will take up far too much space than would be available here.

What the Daily Mail did on Monday of this week [21 August 2006] was to give the front page splash to a slogan that totally sinks to oblivion any remote suggestion for tolerant society.

The record [that which can be checked in the libraries] of the Daily Mail is one of opposition to a tolerant society. That is the worrying thing. It has now revived that pattern which it stuck to and created over the previous 70 years [during when its title changed - the tag Daily Mail is not from its earlier days].

It is well know that the Daily Mail [and to be accurate, the Times, now controlled by Blaring Rupert Murdoch] was one of the appeasers of Adolf Hitler and his party.

What has happened over the Stephen Lawrence murder is that of all the current London-based ‘British' 'national' ‘dailies, the Daily mail has played a phenomenally posturing trick by appearing to print on its front page ‘MURDERERS’ with the photographs of a group of individual it has repeatedly claimed are the real murderers of the youth.

This has been exceedingly diversionary in creating the impression that the Daily Mail is, after all, a publication that is ‘for’ everything that a multiracial, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural society should be like.

That is a carefully crafted stunt the full details of which are as yet not in the public domains.

But the real role of the Daily Mail has been to oppose a tolerant society, especially to oppose one where people from other continents and backgrounds other than Western Europe are included.

The Daily Mail is the official daily print and now internet organ for the most persistewnt spreaders of racist venom and intolerance.

It is through that publication that the favourite pro-racist surrogates have been launched as being ‘sensible blacks’ or 'sensible ethnics’.

The4 list is very long and the impact has been very bad for the cause of a tolerant, pro-democratic society.

As for my ‘location’, that I don’t need to be located anywhere in particular to have an idea or an ideological position.

By the way, I knew of a shallow, phoney, wanna be journalist called George Alagiah a long while back.

And I told him that he was gouging to cause problems by lying for the racists and fabricators.

Whatever he may have been reported as saying about ‘Bengali’ and ‘Tower Hamlets’, is not what I am commenting about here.

The Bangladeshis in Tower Hamlets speak Seelotee. Not Bengali.

And nothing that the local council in Tower Hamlets has done by way of educational service has been addressing any serious side of education. But that is a topic on which I would address Ruth Kelly’s ‘ex cabinet secretary for education’ ‘mind’ on another occasion.
