Goebbels Murdoch is seriously ill.
Goebbels has been diagnosed with early stages of Alzheimer’s disease
At Pebble Beach, recently, he was noticed to be anxious and more suspicious and agitated than usual with an inclination towards delusions and hallucinations.
His decreased knowledge of recent occasions and current events extended to not knowing who Phoney Blair was when he arrived for their private dinner.
He addressed Phoney as David Rothschild before he was quietly corrected.
When examined by doctors Goebbels was unable to count backwards from 100 by 7s.
His reduced memory of his personal history extended to thinking his wife was the maid and asking her what she was doing hanging about the place.
Goebbels seemed subdued and withdrawn, especially in socially or mentally challenging situations.
His son Lachlan, who resigned from News Corp. on 29 July 2005, was back at his side to look after him.
