Sunday Telegraph reporter finds Ivan Milat story on Indy, publishes it today, 3 months after events

DNA matching latest murder victim?
DNA matching latest murder victim?

Today's Sunday Telegraph published a story which I published here THREE MONTHS AGO:

 http://sydney.indymedia.org/node/37040

The story in today's paper relates to the police raiding the Milat family home. This in fact happened on 18th May this year.

However they have not mentioned that DNA matching that in Belanglo Forest has been found on a recent murder victim and that that was the reason for the raid.

The Daily Terror would do well to follow my Milat stories on Indymedia and not publish 3 month old news. Perhaps now they have worked out they can get the insider news right here.

Perhaps the writer of this comment under the original story would like to eat his words:

If the police are hushing

If the police are hushing things up...how come you know about it? How did you come by this information?

It's important to not get too frisky about bits and pieces of prejudiced drivel (as we are reading here) until the FULL facts are known.

Ivan Milat: The Evidence by Brian Raven

Brian Raven was a wonderful person and a good friend with whom I worked at times. Two years ago his body was found in his home in mysterious circumstances; he had been dead some weeks. I have not heard whether there has been a coronial inquiry. At the time of his death Brian was working on exposing corruption in a number of high profile cases. He set up a website regarding the evidence against Ivan Milat. Unfortunately that website has now been taken down but I would like to repeat the information here because several people have asked about the evidence.

I was picked up hitchhiking on the Hume Highway by a dangerous man and it wasn't Ivan Milat

It was the early 1990s. I walked from Campbelltown railway station to the Hume Highway. I needed a lift. I was standing under a light near the on-ramp when a four wheel drive pulled over for me. The driver was good looking and looked out of place in a four wheel drive. His hands and face were so smooth he looked like a bank teller. He was an eerie type of person, around 6 foot tall and fit, broadish shoulders. This would fit with Paul Onions' original description of a man of 6 foot which he later changed at the request of police because it did not fit Ivan Milat's description. I believe the real killer had me that night and it was not Ivan Milat.

The DNA evidence:

The defunct Innocence Panel, set up to review DNA evidence of convicted offenders, will be reinstated and renamed under legislation to be introduced later this year.

The panel was set up in 2002 to help people convicted of serious offences who maintained they were innocent a chance of having their convictions reviewed. Their DNA was to be compared with that taken from crime scenes.

'Born to Kill': Ivan Milat, the two biggest lies exposed

Many people would have seen the programme "Born to Kill" on Prime TV this week. Isn't it amazing that they think because Ivan Milat was convicted by a court, he must be guilty, but they don't accept that the inverse is true, ie, that he was found NOT guilty of attacking and raping two girls he picked up hitch hiking while on the way to Goulburn so therefore he WASN'T guilty. The story about the hitch hikers is often used as an example to 'prove' that Ivan Milat was inclined to do these kinds of things.
