Mass callout to help build the climate camp

We are calling for all people who can to arrive in Leeds from Monday August 21 and head to the Common Place, 23-25 Wharf Street, Leeds LS2 7EQ. This is to build all the infrastructure ready to occupy the site. This is a mammoth task and the more people we have the more infrastructure is ready when we occupy the site and the less has to be built there. No DIY knowledge is needed as the highly skilled site practicalities group will be there to make sure everything goes smoothly!
If you can't make it to Leeds during the week before the camp then please come to Selby Train Station at 10am. However, if you are bringing expensive or easily damageable equipment, or children, it would be better to arrive any time after midday.
Details of the location of the site will be placed on the website from midday on Saturday August 26. There will be details available at Selby Train Station throughout the week.
There will be a welcome meeting for the whole camp at 5pm on Saturday 26.
If you need to arrive in Leeds the night before to be at Selby Train Station for 10 am, please head to the Common Place before 8 pm on the Friday where you will be found accommodation.
